Day 22: Finish Projects and Final Exam

Spreadsheet Project Instructions

Create a store and sell four products
- Calculate the following amounts using formulas and functions where apprpriate
  • Quantity Sold
  • Selling Price per Unit
  • Gross Sales Revenue
  • Cost per Unit
  • Cost of Sales
  • Unit Profit
  • Gross Profit
  • Totals for Quantity Sold, Gross Sales, Cost of Sales, and Gross Profit

- Add pie charts for anything with a total (to show percentages of the total)
- Add column charts for an unit information (to compare amounts to each other)

Google Docs Flyer Project Instructions
Create a flyer to announce an event at your store
- try inserting a drawing with WordArt to make it more interesting (not required)
- Make sure you follow basic design principles
- Consider the following questions (you do not have to address each o:

Day 19 Google vs. Office & Presentation Basics

Google vs. Office Tasks:

  1. Determine which tech tool should be used based on the given scenarios.
  2. How do we decide which tool to use, Google Drive or Microsoft Office?  Is one better than  the other?  Read the articles below with the purpose of determining what features each has to offer and why they are important.  While you read, make a list of the pros and cons  for both.
